God’s Way is an empowered life.

In the devotional on day 16 the title states - “Believe: God Empowers you.” First Corinthians 4:20 from The Message supports this idea. “God’s Way is not a matter of mere talk; it’s an empowered life.” I have wondered how God empowers you and me, as followers of Jesus Christ. In the beginning, God said, “Let there be light,” and light appeared for the first time in history. God words were and are the power that created light. There was no wand to be waved, or device to be utilized. God spoke and it happened. The Bible, God’s Word, blesses our lives as a holy book, but something supernatural happens when you speak God’s Word and believe it with all your heart as it applies to you. God’s power comes into the soul and births life. When we are “born-again” we are born from the Word of God by the Holy Spirit. When we are sick and call on God, there is power is God’s Word when we believe in the person of God Almighty and His Word for your healing, mercy and grace. I know this to be true, because during the most painful hour of my life I read God’s Word, I believed it, and I survived the pain. There is power in God’s Word; just believe. In fact, Jesus said in John 6:29 AMP, “This is the work of God: that you believe [adhere to, trust in, rely on, and have faith] in the One whom He has sent.”

Believe Jesus, then see what God does! He is a God of miracles. Every salvation is a miracle.
